Meet the Maker
Hello and welcome! My name is Janelle and I am the all in all lady and owner behind Rose + Thimble. I am a born and raised Saskatchewan farm girl. I love the peaceful quiet vibe of the farm, and the chaos that comes with it. I am a proud busy mom of two, loving wife, and I love to keep busy! We live on a farm near Denzil Saskatchewan, and we also run a mechanic/hardware shop in town as well, yes life is busy, but its great!
Rose + Thimble was started in 2016, after having my daughter Luca. My inspiration for all of my creations came from a desire to have high quality, long lasting, and super cute stylish clothing for her that she could wear all year round, and last more than just a few months or one season.
It all began with a small dream and a wind – down therapy for me, and it blossomed from there and soon became the creative outlet I fell in love with. I absolutely love creating every singe item from start to finish and I can guarantee that each piece is handcrafted with so much love. I have always enjoyed creating, and sewing has become something I am so passionate about.
My small shop dream has grown so much more than I could have ever imagined, and I am so thankful for all the love.
